Open Microsoft Teams using your student account through MyEC or MyEC lite.
Click “Join or create a team” at the bottom of the Teams sidebar.
Once joined, you can post questions in the chat or join live drop-in sessions.

Key Deadlines
These deadline dates are really important when going through the UCAS process, so make sure you stick to them.
- 12/05/2026 Undergraduate Applications open for 2027 entry
- 01/09/2026 Completed undergraduate applications can be submitted to UCAS
- 15/10/2026 (18:00 UK time) Deadline for applications to the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and for most courses in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary medicine/science
- 07/12/2026 College UCAS Deadline
- 13/01/2027 (18:00 UK time) Application deadline
- 25/02/2027 Extra opens
- 30/06/2027 Applications received by this deadline will be sent to Universities
- 01/07/2027 Last day to add Extra choice
- 02/07/2027 Clearing Opens

A reference is an important part of your UCAS application. You MUST ask your lecturer to write your reference and make sure that you have named your chosen lecturer referee on your application. Please remember that it is your responsibility to select a referee and ensure that your reference is complete before 07th December 2026
You must use this buzzword to make sure your application is part of the College database of applications. This also makes sure that your referee can see the application and add the reference – which is a key part of your application.
