Job Title: Uddingston Hockey Club: Weekend Media Assistant
Directly reports to: UddyTV Manager
Location: Uddingston Hockey Club
Operating Hours & Pay: £30/day with expected hours around 4-5 per matchday, primarily on Saturdays with occasional Sundays depending on fixtures.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our media team for weekend hockey fixtures. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, live sports environment, developing valuable skills in broadcasting and video production.
Responsibilities
•
Set up and operate cameras and live broadcast equipment
•
Support live streaming of matches on YouTube
•
Assist with basic video editing and post-match content creation
•
Troubleshoot technical issues under time pressure
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth match coverage
Desirable Experience
•
Interest or experience in sports media, video production, or broadcasting
•
Familiarity with camera equipment and live streaming software
•
Ability to stay focused and adaptable in a high-pressure, live environment
•
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Training will be provided.
