Help Shape the Future of Everyday Products**

 

Eurofins Alba, a leading Contract Research Organisation based in the heart of Edinburgh, is expanding its panel of volunteers — and you could be part of it!

At our custom‑designed facility, we work with some of the world’s biggest household, personal care, cosmetic, healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device and food brands. Many of the products we test are already on the high street — and before they reach consumers, they need to be tested by real people.

 

What We Do

We design and conduct safety, efficacy, acceptability and preference studies on a huge range of everyday products, including:

• Skincare and cosmetic products
• Toiletries such as soaps and moisturisers
• Acne and spot‑treatment solutions
• Haircare products, from colour performance to dandruff reduction
• And much more!

Most studies take place at our central Edinburgh clinic, and others are carried out at home by volunteers across the UK.

 

Who Can Join?

We are currently expanding our volunteer panels and are especially keen to welcome individuals with specific attributes, including:

• People of colour
• Individuals with acne
• Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds
• Anyone interested in helping shape the products used every day

No experience needed — just a willingness to take part.

 

 

How It Works

• Our Clinical Panel takes part in on‑site studies at our Broughton Street facility in Edinburgh.
• Our Home‑User Panel includes volunteers across the UK who test products from the comfort of their homes.

Every product we test has already passed strict safety checks, and all volunteers receive full information before taking part. Your safety and wellbeing are always our top priority.

 

Earn Up to £500 Per Study

Volunteer studies are compensated for your time and contribution. Payments typically range from £20 to £500, depending on the type and duration of the study.
